A few websites have been featuring this set of photographs by Laurent Kronental. I think that they’re a wonderful exploration of a time when architects were creating vast estates that challenged the “old ways of living, as they saw it. Many of them failed in their ambitions to achieve the utopia that their vision drove them towards. What we’re doing with our evolving cities is something that fascinates me.
